Tripadvisor is filled with fantastic reports of Senior Frogs being the only place to go for the best party! The bar serves excellent high quality food if your tummy is rumbling and the service is exceptional. One tip would be to try to arrive early in order to guarantee a table because this bar is definitely popular! The fun loving staff make you feel right at home throughout the night and the laughter never stops. During the colder winter months they demonstrate their care and love by surprising you with a blanket when you sit outside! The staff at Senior's certainly know how to mix a punchy cocktail and will give away a free tee shirt when you order their biggest drink! (If you dare!) The mc keeps the night interesting with fantastic music and fun activities! And if you stay around for the evening they will even give you free tequila! This excellent waterpark is one of the best in the world! It will cost approx 40 Euros to gain entry but once you do then you can spend the whole day cooling off in the sparkling water and taking advantage of any of the many rides and slides without limitation! the most popular rides seem to be the Zeus-Thunder and Lightning offerings. The slides are high and long! It is a truly exhilarating experience zooming down with the water through never ending twists and turns before getting dumped back into the pool! This is one of Nissi Beach's most popular attractions and enjoys return visitors probably more than any other place in the area. There is a never ending thrill as you explore and discover the many creative marvels the designers of this park have put together for amazing family fun in the sun! This wonderfully charming Medieval Monastery in Ayia Napa is situated in the middle of the village and was originally constructed as a Medieval Castle approx:1500 AD. The monastery is built both overground and underground with much of it having been cut into the rock. The monastery is surrounded by a high wall no doubt built during it's life as a castle. This ancient place was dedicated to 'Our Lady of the Forests'. The Ancient Greek word for 'wooded valley' ('Napa'), is believed to be how the area took its name as Ayia Napa. The monastery underwent restoration work around 1950 and then in 1978 it became a conference centre serving churches in Cyprus and throughout the Middle East. The monastery eventually fell under administration from the Metropolis in 2007 when the re-establishment of the Holy Metropolis Constantia Ammochostos (Famagusta) took place. This visit costs nothing other than travel costs and is well worth doing. Photographers will be in their element in this scenic ancient setting! There is also an ancient sycamore tree to be found in front of the south gate and is believed to be over 600 years old.
